They’re so cute! I did two, and Sean Harrigan at Macmillan did three and the layouts for all. We have a word search, dot-to dot (or dog-to-dog, depends how you look at it), a maze, a coloring page and ‘what’s your favorite dog like?’
They’ll be downloadable and reproducible from my kids page soon or from the publisher’s website .

A while back my publisher sent this to me… happy news! I can’t seem to find a link on line to the real review so I’m going to post this uncorrected pre-review and hope I don’t get in trouble. I suppose I could buy a copy of the magazine, but probably won’t.

Thursday April 2nd, 1 – 4:30 pm.
Fort Lewis, near Olympia, WA
I’ll be with the US Family Health / Pacmed booth. They will be giving away 20 signed copies of “Don’t Lick the Dog” (compliments of Macmillan). There will be at least one sweet Therapy dog there for kids to meet, coloring contest, reading the book, and prizes!

I’m not sure what to do with this, but I like it! Dana Sullivan made it for me. If you need anything like this, he’s in biz and very easy to work with. And fast! AND, he has a really sweet old dog named, Max.
I’m having trouble uploading it. Here is the Facebook link: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=68877532224&ref=nf

… a very nice features story by Cecelia Goodnow in Thursday’s P-I: http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/books/402294_wendy05.html
“Andy’s dark eyes are alluring, and his toussled gray curls emit pure animal magnetism. It’s tempting to reach out and give the guy a pat on his fluffy head. Then you remember Wendy Wahman’s playful admonition in “Don’t Lick the Dog: Making Friends With Dogs.” “Whap! Whap! Whap! Dogs hate that! Stand still and let dogs come to you to smell your hand or sniff your shoe.” Point taken.”
